We are still alive !!

I haven't posted to this blog in a while. I just wanted to quickly say, we are still alive. We are coming up on a PCS. For those who don't know what a PCS is, it stands for Permanent Change of Station. Long story short we will be packing up and leaving Germany to head out to the mid-west. Jaxon's Schedule

Well, last night was rough. Jaxon woke up every hour. Poor kid still doesn't know what time zone he is in. =[ So, to try and help him re-establish his routine, we have decided to be stricter with the daily schedule. We will do the same thing every day at the same time to try and help his body get back on this time clock. I am even putting his new schedule on the fridge to help me remember. I know its kinda dorky... but it's worth a try. I will post update on how he is doing time zone wise.  Our new schedule will be:

JAXON’S DAY

8:30: Jaxon wakes up and eats breakfast (BM only).
9:00: Tummy Time (alternating tummy/back)
10:30: Morning Naptime (If not tired, relax in swing.) 
11:30: Lunch Time (Food and BM)
12:00: Your Baby Can Read

12:30: Play time in Jumper
1:00: Tummy Time
2:30: Afternoon snack (BM only)
3:00: Afternoon Nap
4:00: Tummy Time (alternating tummy/back)
5:00: Jaxon gets time in walker while Mommy starts dinner
5:30: Jaxon eats dinner. (Food and BM)
6:00: Jaxon sits at table with Mommy & Daddy for dinner (Your Baby Can Read)

6:30: Playtime with Daddy
7:30: Bath time 
8:00: Movie Time with Mommy & Daddy
8:30: Jaxon has bedtime snack (BM)
9:00: Bedtime =]

It's been a while..

     Well, it has been a while since I posted last. My friend actually started up her blog recently and inspired me to pay more attention to mine. So I decided to catch up on the past month. Jaxon and I were settled in Germany and my husband came home from Afghanistan  at the beginning of December. =] Our family was united once again.
     We spent a few weeks here in Germany getting to know each other again and find a routine that works for us. We enjoyed Jaxon's first Christmas here in Germany as a family and then on December 28th, we flew back to the states to visit family/friends.We stay at my in-laws for the week and a half or so and then it was back to the airport and home to Germany. We have been back here just over a week now.
     Jeremy went back to work today and Jaxon is still trying to figure out what time zone we are in...so needless to say nights are rough. We are getting ourselves into a good routine.We are watching movies in the evening, after dinner, as a family. Jaxon goes to bed around 8-9, although he will usually be up by midnight =/. Jeremy and I have been going to the gym or working out in some way 5 days a week, Monday-Friday. Now that Jeremy is going back to work I will be working out with my good friend Holly.

Well, that's about it. Just a quick catch up. Hopefully I will stick with this blog and keep posting =]

Update. - Germany

Well, with everything going on I haven't had a chance to update this blog. Now that I finally have a few minutes, I thought I would.

So we made it home to Germany safe and sound. Jaxon has taken to his new home with lots of excitement... okay mostly its just the big tv. Anyways... all the cleaning is caught up and we have our basic groceries. When we first got here the truck was dead, so I had to get a new battery. Thankfully, I have awesome friends who jumped me to get to the car center. I got our phone and internet hooked back up and now we are just waiting on the arrival of Jeremy. =] We both caught this stupid cold going aroud the base. Luckily, Jaxon isn't too bad. He has some mild stuffiness, but thats it. Once Jeremy is home we will probably get decorations up and Jaxon's bedroom painted. I am still waiting on most of his packages. Today we might go and try getting our Tricare changed over and probably a quick stop at the post office and commissary. We aren't doing anything too exciting since we are both sick, I am trying to take it easy.

Well thats all for now. Just a quick update on how things are going. =]

Our Daily Routine

8:30: Jaxon wakes up and eats. (Diaper change)
9:00: Play time on his mat (tummy time)
10:00-10:45/11:00: Morning Naptime.
10:45/11:00: He gets his diaper changed and eats.
11:30: Playtime on the mat, in bouncer, etc. (errands done now if I have any)
1:00: Diaper change, Jaxon eats, and takes another nap.
1:45: Wakes up, diaper changed (again.lol)
2:00: Playtime
3:00: Jaxon eats, then sits in his bouncer and plays.
3:30: Take a walk (If its nice out.)
4:00: Mommy time =] (diaper)
5:00: Eats, and then a Visit with Memere and Poppop
5:30: Playtime
6:30-7:00: Evening Nap (diaper)
7:00: Eats and Movie time with Mommy
8:45: Bath (obviously new diaper)
9:00: Playtime
9:15: Eats (check diaper before he eats)
9:30: Bedtime =]

BED HEAD..

This child does not do mornings lol.

Yesterday morning... at 10 am ... "Jaxon, are you ready to get up?" His reply?.. looks at me burried his head in the pillow and shut his eyes... "I guess that's a no. You're a bum lol" He opens his eyes, smiles at me.. and goes  back to sleep. Finally getting up aroudn 1030 am. We had a good day yesterday, although he slept most of it. I was able to finish packing everything. =]Last night we played a bunch and then bath time and bed.

This morning...
He was in his bed all night AND back in his bed after his first wake up. (Normally thats when I bring him in with me.) This morning was nice we got up for the day again around 1030. He was snoozing while I got to talk to Holly. I really should start getting my shower in the morning while he sleeps in. Right now I put it off til after lunch and then we run errands... but I need to start night time showers anyway with the weather getting cold.  ..Anyways... He got fed and a fresh diaper and now he is playing on his playmat. He loves that thing! He talks to all the toys and tells them about his life lol. Well it's 11am now and I am watchin Dr OZ while I get some food. Since he is playing.

Misc. updates... he eats every 2 hours...sometimes 2.5. He can roll tummy to back, but not back to tummy (yet) . . He is awake for longer periods while he plays. He also spits up a lot more. It's still not a lot, just more than he used to. He eats about 2.5 - 3 oz at a time. So I think its the times where he tries to eat more or if he doesnt burp well enough..etc. But yeah thats Jaxon now, he turns 2 months tomorrow. =] He is playing .. so cute.

Halloween Party and Lazy Sunday

Well last night was the Halloween party. Our friends Todd & Jess came early to look at a bunch of the baby stuff that will be hand me downs. I am so glad to have found a good home for it all. =] We had fun at the party. Everyone wanted to see Jaxon (of course). No big drunken stunts this year. It was done before midnight. Either way, we had a blast. Good food. Good people. We came in around 930 for his bedtime routine and all. I think it was too much excitement for him though. He didn't fall asleep until midnight and woke up at 4am, 6am, 8am, and we got up at 10.... Not his normal. But oh well. Anyways... this morning we were lazy bums all morning. I didnt even get a shower until 2pm lol. He took a great nap, like 1.5 hours this afternoon. He likes sleeping on his stomach. He has been playing in his swing a lot too. He loves it. =] He can roll over from stomach to back and almost back to stomach. Now its dinner time and I am helping my mom study for her EMT class.
